Oil Ranch has assembled a group of talented land professionals and technologists to complete land services for the upstream production industry. We keep our core group small, agile, and focused on project direction and management. We have long standing relationships with some of the best land professionals in the industry allowing us to scale up and down to accommodate projects of any size.

John Wolcott, CPL
Managing Member
John has worked as an oil and gas and mining landman since 1977. He is committed to applying technology to the industry and creating efficiencies in all aspects of land work which he has implemented for many years through the Wolcott, LLC system. John is a graduate of Mesa College (now Colorado Mesa University) with a BS in Geology. He is a member of AAPL, DAPL, LAAPL, HAPL, and RMMLF.
Grady Hunnicutt
Managing Member/Business Development
Grady has owned Hunnicutt Land Services for 13 years and has worked as a landman throughout the Western US. He was raised in Midland, TX where he currently resides.
Jason Bogart
Project & Data Manager
Jason has worked with Wolcott, LLC since 2006. He has worked with data and in IT for over 20 years. He views land work as “data” and strives to streamline and create efficiencies for all land projects whether, DD, Title and Leasing, Surface and ROW or Mining.
Sam Buchman
CFO
Sam is a CPA and received his BS in Accounting from Adams State University CO. He has worked in accounting for 15 years, several of those in oil and gas as Wolcott, LLC’s Account Manager. Sam grew up in the Houston, TX area.
